"Reflections on Papers Past" website now online
Hari Sridhar (independent researcher and fellow at the Konrad Lorenz Institute (Austria) / Writer in Residence at the ZuKo, invited by Gisela Kopp), has launched his website "Reflections on Papers Past". The project was funded by the Zukunftkolleg.
"Reflections on Papers Past" (https://reflectionsonpaperspast.com/) is a collection of back-stories and recollections about famous scientific papers in Ecology, Evolution, Behaviour and Conservation based on interviews with their authors. In addition to showcasing the full interviews, the website uses material from the interviews in the form of three exhibits:
- Thematic collections of quotes that showcase the human stories behind scientific papers (https://reflectionsonpaperspast.com/quotes/)
- An archive of photos and other visuals connected to the back-stores of papers (https://reflectionsonpaperspast.com/gallery/)
- Papers annotated with author reflections (https://reflectionsonpaperspast.com/annotated/)
Hari will also come to Konstanz/the Zukunftskolleg on 4 July and present the website.
