Heisenberg Professorship for Malte Drescher
We congratulate Malte Drescher who is the first Heisenberg Professor at the University of Konstanz. He is professor for “Spectroscopy of Complex Systems” at the department of chemistry. On October 15, he will give his inaugural lecture on “Spies, Spins and Spectra” in which he explains the Electron Spin Resonance Spectroscopy as a method to analyze the structure and dynamic of macromolecules. The Heisenberg Professorship is funded by the German Research Foundation for the duration of five years, if the university creates a new professorship and guaranties the payment after five years.
