Gisela Kopp invited to Japanese-American-German Frontiers of Science Symposium
We congratulate Gisela Kopp (ZENiT Research Fellow / Biology) who has received one of the coveted invitations to the 5th Japanese-American-German Frontiers of Science (JAGFOS) Symposium
The JAGFOS Symposium is organised by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation in cooperation with the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science and the National Academy of Sciences, and will take place in Kyoto, Japan, from 24-27 October 2024.
The JAGFOS symposium offers outstanding researchers (up to 15 years after their doctorate) from Japan, the USA and Germany a platform for the international and interdisciplinary exchange of knowledge. They are challenged to question and expand the boundaries of their respective fields - for example through interdisciplinary discussions on current progress, innovative research and synergy potential.
To promote an intensive exchange, the symposium is limited to a total of 72 selected and personally invited scientists from the three partner countries.
