Tasks and Goals

The Binational Center of Qualitative Methods (BZQM) began its work on April 1, 2021. The BZQM is a joint scientific institution of the University of Constance and the Thurgau University of Teacher Education (PHTG). It provides an infrastructural platform for qualitative social research at both institutions by communicating and coordinating methodological knowledge, establishing a technical infrastructure and facilitating exchange among researchers at the University of Constance, the PTHG and the HTWG Constance - University of Applied Sciences. The center is financed both by the University of Constance and the PTHG.
