The University of Konstanz continually consolidates its infrastructure in core facilities that can be shared sustainably by researchers in many different disciplines.
Our core facilities are mainly comprised of laboratories in which state-of-the-art and well-maintained equipment is pooled and made accessible at a single location to both internal and external users for research purposes. Some of the core facilities analyze users' samples and send them the measurement results directly. A third variety provides specialist knowledge that is indispensable for research – in data analysis and visualization, for example.
