As a student with a disability or chronic illness, you will always face special challenges. You often have to plan and organize not only your studies, but also practical phases and your later career entry with particular care. To support you with your individual application and transition into working life, the University of Konstanz offers you various counseling services.
Individual career counseling
If you have a disability or chronic illness, you will probably have many questions when starting your career: How openly should I communicate my (visible or invisible) illness in the application process? How do I present any longer periods of illness in my CV? How can I ensure during the interview that the internship or job suits me and my individual needs? Where can I find employers who are open to applicants with disabilities or chronic illnesses?
You are welcome to make an individual appointment with our Career Service consultants to discuss your questions.
Support with your studies
The University of Konstanz has put together a comprehensive range of counseling and support services for students with disabilities or chronic illnesses. You can find an overview of the services and contact persons during your studies here.
