3. Description and scope of the processing of data
We process your data for the purpose of the registration for a working group on the core topics of the Excellence Strategy.
The data is transmitted to us by e-mail.
The following data is collected and stored via the form:
- Last name and first name
- Email address
- Field of work
- Function
4. Legal basis for data processing
The legal basis for the processing of data is Article 6 (1) (a) of the GDPR, provided the user's consent has been obtained.
5. Purpose of data processing
The data collected is used to conduct the registration for a working group on the core topics of the Excellence Strategy.
6. Storage period
Your above-mentioned data will be stored for as long as it is needed for the purposes of the registration. At the latest on 01 December 2025 the data will be deleted immediately.
7. Passing on the data
Internal recipients: If you have provided data, we, the Excellence Strategy Coordination Team, will pass on your data internally to the following bodies: Rectorate.
External recipients: None.
8. Rights of the parties involved
- In accordance with Art. 15 GDPR, you have the right to request information from the University of Konstanz about any data it saves that is related to your person and/or to have incorrect data corrected as per Art. 16 GDPR.
- You also have the right to demand that your data be deleted (Art. 17 GDPR) or that the pro-cessing and use thereof be restricted (Art. 18 GDPR).

- You also have the right to file a complaint with the regulating authority if you believe that the processing and use of your personal data is in violation of the law (Art. 77 GDPR).
