Dear professors

We are a university with open doors and short distances. Our motto is "creative.together" and we firmly believe that many things can be done better if you get to know the person behind an email address or voice on the phone.

Join us for your individual tour of the university's central divisions and meet the people who are responsible for supporting you and your team. It is the perfect opportunity to connect with the person you can contact whenever you have questions or need assistance.

Stop 1: Human Resources

Meet the person who assists you with hiring new staff and draws up the contracts for your staff members.

Stop 2: Finance and Controlling

Talk to the persons who assist you with managing your funding as well as with purchasing consumables and infrastructure.

Stop 3: Student Affairs and Teaching

This division is not only an important point of contact for students. Teaching staff is supported, too, for example by the Office for Curricular Affairs, which takes care of overarching teaching matters such as teaching-related calls and funding programmes (e.g. Teaching Innovation Fund).

Stop 4: Facility Management (room reservation team)

Our centralized management of lecture halls, seminar and meeting rooms is rather unique for a German university. Larissa Laub will gladly explain to you how our uncomplicated, tried-and-tested process works.
