Inspiration for online teaching

Share what you know and benefit from the experiences of others!

You rarely get to sit in on a seminar taught by your colleagues at the university. Especially now though, you could really benefit from getting inspiration from others on how to conduct courses under the current conditions. We invite you to share your essential experiences during the summer semester: the dos and don’ts, the tips and tricks, the “how-tos” of using different tools and methods.

These pages are continually expanding to provide inspiration for online teaching, share practical examples for online teaching and give you ideas for your own courses. Help us by sharing your experiences using the form below.

How does it work?

  1. Step 1: Choose which aspects of your online teaching experiences you would like to share and enter the corresponding information in the form. We only need a few basic facts about your course; which additional information you share is up to you. The form contains some broad questions you can respond to. You are free to choose which ones to answer and the length of your response.
  2. Step 2: We will format your information for you.
  3. Step 3: Before your contribution goes online, we will check it over together.

Publication: You can choose who can view your contribution. There are two options:

  • Public: Your contribution is freely available on the University of Konstanz website; anyone can see it.
  • University-wide: Your contribution is available to logged-in university members (via the “My University” icon).
